What’s up, everyone? Welcome back to the podcast. Thank you so much for joining us. This is Episode 19. I can’t believe it, I just thought about it right now we are almost at 20 episodes, which is just kind of crazy to think about. You know, not that long ago, we just started this show. So, almost 20 episodes in. I just want to say thank you so much, I really truly am grateful to have you here listening have you as a part of the community. I really hope that you’re getting a lot of value from these shows and from these episodes. And you know, if you haven’t done so already, make sure you subscribe to the podcast. That way you get notifications every time I release a new episode, I’m doing my best to put one out every single week for you. To just bring you some amazing content that we have, you know, Matthew Brownstein has been teaching for almost 20 years now, maybe even longer. He has basically poured his heart and soul and all of his knowledge into many different areas. So what we’re doing with this show, is trying to condense that information and sort of bring it back to the light and bring it back front and centre to share it with you in this new format of an audio podcast. Again, I really hope you’re enjoying the show, I hope you’re getting a lot of value from it. So today’s episode is a part two of our little series we’re doing on meditation and hypnosis, and sort of diving into some of the differences, some of the similarities, and a little bit of the overlap between what is meditation? What is hypnosis? And are they the same? Are they different? What’s going on here. If you haven’t listened to part one, make sure you go back to last week’s episode because it’s really super informational and interesting. And you really kind of get an idea of the fundamentals of what makes hypnosis different than meditation. In today’s episode, we continue on with this conversation. And really, what you’re going to learn here is that I don’t want to spoil it for you or anything. But really, the main difference here is that even in deep, deep meditation, you’re not necessarily healing some of those inner issues that you have some of these deeper sand scars as they’re called. This is kind of like sort of the main difference between meditation and hypnosis. Because in hypnosis, since we have a practitioner there and a facilitator there, you know, we can really help to heal our clients. If we’re doing hypnosis on ourselves, we can really help to heal ourselves from those different things that we’re dealing with, whether it’s anxieties or fears, or you know, just trauma from our childhood, whatever it might be. With meditation, it’s more just a state of bliss and a state of just deep, deep relaxation. At least that’s how I understand it. And you know, Matthew is going to dive in and really explain this further. Make sure you’re dialled in, you’re taking notes. I really hope you enjoy this episode. Let’s go ahead and jump right into it. This is part two of the difference between meditation and hypnosis.

And hypnosis we have give you kind of a sentence now and natural an altered state of mind with a high degree of reward a degree of responsiveness from the subconscious mind where the critical mind or the critical factor or the conscious mind has been bypassed. And where selective thinking has been established now it’d be a very complete definition of hypnosis, natural yet altered state with a degree, ideally high light, you know good enough degree of responsiveness with your subconscious mind where their conscious mind critical factor has been bypassed. So suggestions are being accepted with uncritically and selective thinking has been established, but is that it really just means you are focusing as the client on what I’ve had, or the participant on stage on what I’ve asked you to focus on focus only on selective thinking you had to make the choice to do it. That’s why all hypnosis is self hypnosis. But once you do it, the acceptance of one suggestion paves the way for the acceptance of the next one. And anybody who’s trained in hypnosis will understand that principle to a degree, those who are really worked in body won’t be able to take you all the way into your goals. Because you say I’m here, I want to be here, I start giving you suggestions to move you along the path and suffering, freedom from whatever your complaint or your issue was. And that can be behavioural change, emotional change, healing past memories. And there’s all sorts which I will pay attention tonight, all sorts of applications that can occur with now what I’ll say is not just hypnosis, but if not therapy. So where the paths really branch is, okay, maybe we could argue they’re the same deep state of mind. I would say not necessarily, which I’ll build upon that a moment. But even every Saturday, there’s similarities in altered states, the place where hypnotherapy really starts to shine, you know, are the modalities that have been developed that just don’t exist in the traditional meditative fields. So things like childhood regressions, Gestalt dialogue is to help to resolve the memories that are brought to consciousness course in meditation, you hear this but forgiveness work in compassion work, there are gone lists in a huge list, we have 500 hours of training in the school 500 plus hours. So I can just say there are countless modalities that we as hypnotherapist use, to bring people to their goals, where I as a meditation teacher can teach you meditation, but I’m not necessarily facilitating your process, in a way to really make major change. So here’s something that I’ve experienced living in different ashrams, monasteries and spiritual communities over the years, there are meditators that I’ve lived with study with great masters literally in the Himalayas could go into the deepest meditative states, and yet their subconscious mind was just as neurotic as anyone else. Because the meditative teachings can make major progress and subconscious blocks, but do not necessarily clear them anywhere near the way hypnotherapy does. So you can have a client whose normal average person is diving into these altered states who comes in with an issue, and they’re suffering with that issue. And then you can meet somebody who’s been meditating for 30 years, who has the same exact issue. I’ve seen this over and over and over again, because deep meditative states don’t necessarily heal deep, subconscious content, in some ways they do, but in a lot of ways, they just don’t. So selective thinking basically means that if I say I want you to imagine you’re on the beach, that’s all you’re focusing on. Let’s go back to your childhood and look at some of those uncomfortable memories who can resolve that? That’s what your folks want you to picture yourself as a nonsmoker. That’s what you’re focusing on. Let’s go back to a past life, whether you believe in that or not. Yeah, but we’ll review the information that’s coming up. You’ve selectively thought about only that soon as your mind wanders, and you’re off doing something else. You no longer have selective thinking. You’re no longer doing the tip not therapy process. So selective thinking is similar to meditation, that at least during the time of the hypnotherapy session, I’ve engaged your awareness enough, maybe for this to power many hours to keep you part of the process. If you fall asleep, it’s no longer hypnosis. If your mind wanders to where you’re not even following my suggestions or engaging in the process, then it’s not hypnosis or hypnotherapy occurring anymore. So selective thinking, while in our school, we don’t focus on that term as much. He’s actually a really important part of that idea. So folks in heaven that they are up north. Yeah, Jan is referring to yet people in ashrams, monasteries, spiritual communities who are so focused on the light that you know, thank you idea. None of it does this although I have. We go and spend a lot of time in a cave and you just not engaging with the world but you just got into deep retreat. I think there’s a lot of benefit to taking retreat time for sure. But yeah, the idea somebody has removed themselves from the world, of course meditation, especially modern mindfulness. Meditation doesn’t encourage that. Most spirit traditions really don’t encourage that. But in times, you know, there’s deep retreat for somebody who’s really struggling with what they might call enlightenment or some revelation they’re working that have some breakthrough they want to have and they put themselves into retreat. The beauty of hypnotherapy is you’re still dealing with very similar states of mind. Again, I’m going to show you the difference in a moment, or at least explain the difference. He had an hypnotherapy was active in the world were using altered states, we’re exploring what it’s like to go into these very deep states of consciousness. And we’re really, truly being of service to others in a way that’s measurable and profound. Nothing meditation does, and also meditation teachers and those who bring mindfulness and yogic teachings into the world. massage therapists who guide your meditations, it’s all wonderful. And there’s nothing negative to be said about any of this stuff. I can just say in a positive light. In hypnotherapy, we are getting to for me, I can say, personally, I was able to find a profession that allowed me to be my spiritual self, I could still use altered states, I could focus on healing, I can help people to awaken to who they truly are. And yes, I had powerful techniques to do it. And to me, that’s why I’ve dedicated my life much more to hypnotherapy than to just running a meditation centre like I used to do. There’s great benefit in guiding people in a meditation class, but it’s nowhere near as profound as what I know I can do with someone with hypnotherapy. However, let’s talk about one major distinction that occurs with both altered states hypnosis and meditation. And again, what’s the difference in the inner experience? A lot of that depends on what techniques are being used. However, there won’t be any point in either hypnosis or meditation, we’re going to move into a state of consciousness that feels extremely good. That’s the technical way of saying so in hypnosis, we have the state known as the as Dallas D. It’s also been termed the hypnotic coma, talk about why for a moment, and technically speaking, in the relaxation model, it is deep as you can go. It’s not necessarily the catalepsy, or amnesia, or hallucinations, any of the stuff I’ve listed there. But we do have is profound physical and mental relaxation, usually a very high level of response to suggestion, but also this weird phenomena where they don’t respond at all. And the reason for that is they feel so good, that to do with anything else, like lift your arm, no way. That’s more work that I want to put into that. I don’t go to a negative memory. Do you kidding, I feel way too good to go back. And after that to heal some uncomfortable memory. The deepest hypnotic state is usually measured by complete profound physical and mental relaxation. Now, I say usually, because the other ways of measuring it are actually much better. As far as is a person going to have really profound life changing response. You want to measure it through catalepsy is usually one of the better ways or hallucination, whether whatever that is there multiple types. anaesthesia, it’s a little bit harder to test because you don’t want to hurt your client to be sure they’re being responsive. But if you’re preparing them for surgery, using hypnosis, you’re darn well better be sure, right that they can experience something that would normally be painful, we usually use that all clamps that we put on the fleshy part of the hand here so you don’t break the skin, you’re not doing anything outside the scope of your training when you have to be sure this person is ready for surgery, just deep relaxation will not imply that the deep relaxation might help to prepare them for surgery because they know they can stay that relaxed when somebody’s cutting their lower abdomen open. be pretty darn relaxed and confident. You can maintain not just the relaxation and even full body paralysis usually will cause full immobility of the body. So the person not going to move during a surgery. They’re going to remain relaxed, immobile and completely free of discomfort. And that’s not impossible at all. Not everybody can do it. Yes, it’s absolutely documented, verifiable and not always practical, you know, Kimani stages, may be the better way to go for the majority of the population. But some people are alerting to that. And every so often as hypnotherapist we get the chance to train a client to go into a state deep enough to undergo surgery in the as Dell state when they’re physically and mentally relaxed. We don’t necessarily get that just from this hypnotic coma. There’s a few things to be said about this for clarity. Why is it called the hypnotic coma because the early pioneers who put people in the state couldn’t get them out, like wow, they appear to be comatose. They’re not responding in any way. But once they got them out, And it’s not really tonight’s topic of how to get them out of the state but once they’re out of that wonderfully pleasant state there was saying that I heard everything he said I was really conscious, but it just felt so good I didn’t want to come out. So on the surface hypnosis, it looks different than when it really is. You are fully conscious you are fully control you are fully aware. And most of the time you remember everything that happens if you’re told you remember everything that happens, you do remember everything that happens. Again, we’re getting to a major plane to talk about deep meditation. So deep hypnosis, measured by this profound relaxed state caused as to as now state because the conscious mind is our left. Giving suggestions for pain relief, absolutely becomes very real. James says dal the state is named by a British surgeon who went to India is primarily known for his work in Calcutta gyms as Dell would put people into very deep hypnosis. It was also called mesmerism at the time, so it’s kind of the mesmeric hypnotic state. And it could take hours to get somebody there. But the sag Indian population was more open to these things and Westerners, so Dr. Edgar was able to put people into the states and do the bleed surgeries, removal of tumours, full amputations, arms or legs, with no pain whatsoever. And then more pioneers again, later on, try to figure out how did he do it. And I’m basically we have those techniques now. So here’s the major point, once you get someone very deep in hypnosis, there’s a very good chance you’re just going to fall asleep. In deep meditation, the same basic thing occurs. Now if you’re sitting on a meditation cushion, usually it doesn’t. But there’s a point either way, and now we can talk about something different in meditation, and it’s a state called Samadhi. And by the way, a lot of these words hypnotic phenomena we often put in the category of somnambulistic states. So for me, somnambulistic states are measurable types of hypnotic phenomena, their current deep hypnosis, as we talked about the heads down state, we’re also encroaching upon those regions were in the realm of all that. But it’s an important understanding as Dell state, we don’t always get responsiveness because the person just to relax to want to respond, they’re feeling great. But either way, in that state, when they’re that deep, there’s a very good chance, if we’re not playing with all those tests, we just let them stay in the state itself, they could very well fall asleep. Now in a very deep meditation, and very deep meditation, you can move into a state called Samadhi. Now, there’s no good English equivalent to that. So it requires a little bit of explanation. And we don’t have enough time to cover it all. Then, of course, basically, in the Indian or Sanskrit use of the term Samadhi is as deep as you can go. There are stages of Samadhi. So we’re going to talk tonight about it states, called a non simile, and then at least I can define that one term for you and help you to see the similarities, the differences and the value of practising meditation, and non Samadhi. anon many of you may know means bliss. And Samadhi, you might say means oneness. So in deep meditation, we can have this sense of absolute bliss consciousness, you can go to a place, it’s just so so beautiful. And you hope you got there through your meditative practice, whether it’s repeating your mantra, and let’s just use that as an example. It’s not the only way to go there. But if you kept repeating a mantra over and over again, which you don’t do in classical hypnotherapy, and you kept concentrated power going into your mind is totally one pointed. But then you let go the strain, and you just completely present, not necessarily externally focused, you’ll be closed your eyes and brought all that concentrated power deep inside of our own inner being. I’m going to use a spiritual term you’ll kind of interpret as you like, you would feel the peace of your own soul. Now, nobody uses the word soul. So I can say if you plunge into your own consciousness, in Samadhi meditation, it’s a very duplicable process. It’s scientific in the sense that here’s a hypothesis, you have peace and bliss inside of you. Now, do this practice and you will experience that you do the practice you perform the experiment, you get a verifiable result that replicable other people can duplicate that that scientific method. So in meditation, I can say, let me teach you how to go into that state. As you go into it, you start feeling so good at some point, that you will tend to drift into St. Paul Yoga nidra. That means you’ll get sleep in hypnosis with a very similar phenomena. And this is really why it’s worth talking about one sense hypnotherapy branches off because there’s all these great modalities that can be used and you don’t need to be in the deepest stage to use them. So it makes for an amazing book. very transformative for a lot, a lot of people. But if you’re just talking about using the state to experience the altered states, you’ll get to the place where you’re so relaxed, you’re pretty much just going to fall asleep at some point, and you haven’t developed that concentrated power to keep yourself awake. This same thing occurs in meditation where a lot of people have experienced Yoga nidra, at the end of the yoga class, so you’re doing all the body postures, and then your yoga teacher as you lie down at the end in a province called usually called corpse pose, or she Boston, one of my teachers. So we stopped calling Shiva, Asana, the pose of Shiva corpse pose, this are calling an immortal pose. So just a little reframing that, when you’re in this state, usually you’re lying down. So it’s similar to being in the recliner. Now you’re not sitting in formal hypnosis, in a lotus position with a straight spine. Now you’re lying down with your eyes closed. It’s a very healing, it’s very balancing. In that sense, I would say it’s really not different from hypnosis. If somebody is giving you suggestions, and you’re responding to the suggestions, it’s basically hypnosis. And you could very easily drift into what’s called Yoga nidra. Both hypnotic clients are participants. And people who do yoga, meditation will tell you they have the same experience, this usually sound something like that, when they come out. We are Wow, I was so relaxed. I don’t even remember what happened. And then I was there. But I wasn’t really there. I was conscious, but I wasn’t really conscious. It’s like I my normal sense of conscious mind was so relaxed, that all I was aware of was just this wonderful euphoric inner feeling. And then you brought me back, you brought my conscious mind back into my sense of my body. But in that state, I was in a place not of Samadhi in a state called Yoga nidra yogic sleep. That’s a now you know, you hear in hypnosis the term hypnotic sleep, we say asleep, James as dal, to put people into those states for hours, sometimes, we’ll just be telling someone, the goddess, the goddess, the we figured out ways to do it faster. And we do use the word sleep. We always say it’s not the CPU at night. But that word causes an altered state like no other English word. So I basically in a sense, I’m putting you into Yoga nidra, when I’m doing a deep relaxation, you know, we can get you there in many different ways. But once you’re there, I need to keep you engaged so you don’t fall asleep. And we can get some type of beneficial response for you. If you do fall asleep. The responsiveness drops almost to nothing yet, yes, somebody could be asleep. And you could give them suggestions. And there are some cases where they respond. But generally, if hypnosis were sleep, then you would just listen to a recording all night, and wake up as a genius. You listen to recording all night as you sleep and you wake up and you another problem anymore. We know that that generally doesn’t work. So we have to maintain an altered state not fully awake, not fully asleep. As you’re encroaching upon this place where it feels so good inside, half awake, half asleep, the brains moving into theta activity. Getting closer to delta activity. Delta activity I mentioned before is content this sleep. So now you know we’re in the state of theta activity, dreams and delta content Leslie, but we can enter those brainwave states consciously. The trouble again in both hypnosis and meditation is people tend to fall asleep. So again, I would say hypnosis leading into hypnotherapy yields amazing transformational techniques and results. medication can guide you into some of the most gorgeous inner experiences based on the state called Samadhi. The state of profound oneness and feeling of light love bliss, joy, connection universe, people use words like God realisation or Self Realisation. And it you form it can it can be static, it can be absolutely intoxicating, even addicting in that sense, then, you know, there’s people in hypnosis we call them trance junkies. And myself being a long term avid meditator would spend hours I mean, literally, sometimes six to 12 hours a day in meditation, not good as much anymore. But you know, God the days of just hours and hours and hours a day of meditation. In a sense, you could say there’s a quest, you’re working towards something that really is kind of an addiction to that inner state of bliss. Now, here’s the real key of the difference between hypnosis and meditation. Here it is. Without the concentrated power, the meditator both people whoever’s pressing the dose or medication would fall asleep. So Yoga nidra, where you kind of half awake half asleep, you’re just drifting to sleep if you haven’t developed that intense concentrated power. So now I’ll underline that was two words so you can see why medication might be really important in your exploration of altered states. Without the development. I’ll give you the Sanskrit words, and my Japanese apologia Reiki and in Sanskrit, the term and you won’t find in Sri and easily is Sonia. It’s a combination of three types of inner ways of inner being, which deals with intense concentration called dharna. Meditation is placing your attention on something without wavering called Dionne, and Samadhi itself. So the combination of this very powerful, concentrated awareness, you get call centre. And if you study the yoga sutras of Patanjali, you’ll certainly hear about this word senyum, where the yogi can take his or her consciousness, this concentrated power, place it where they want it to be. Now, the deepest teachings, say yoga, or not being able to stand on your head and not all those body postures not being able to control your breath to Ptolemy is too heavy handed, that whole process is basically Samadhi, or oneness with source the experience. Not that you’re not already one resource, the Yogi’s would just say you’re just not aware of it. So by putting your attention on who you really are, this deep inner journey, you find again, that same peace, bliss, love and oneness and anyone else does. But on the way, you’ll start to experience a non Samadhi state of wonderful bliss. And then next thing you know, you just drift off into bliss. You come back later, and he went into Yoga nidra, you are half awake, half asleep. a meditator learns to move through stages of Samadhi into the deepest stages of Samadhi. And he can’t go fully into those tonight. Yeah, and I would just say like I said before, there’s a place where the hypnosis teachings at hypnosis, mesmerism hypnotism, they just haven’t incorporated all these ideas of the meditation and to hypnotherapy, it’s not really practical. A lot of people don’t know that teachers in our school in the transpersonal section of training, I’ll show you briefly. In the beginning, God said, Let there be light. In the beginning, in certified hypnotherapist, the first 300 hours, we don’t touch upon the word Samadhi at all, you’re learning self hypnosis, deep hypnosis, suggestion therapy and all sorts of advanced techniques is 300 hours of material. So I can’t explain all of it. Now you can check out our website if you want to explore that further. in clinical hypnotherapy. We’re definitely starting to look at healing and pain management techniques. But it’s Intel, it’s 400 total hours. I can’t do justice to all of that in transpersonal. hypnotherapy. That’s when we start exploring not only all the cool stuff, past life regression, life between life regression exploring the inner life, exploring that soul in embryonic development, birth process, alien abduction, entity attachment, out of body experiences, remote viewing all that cool stuff. But it really culminates in teachings of how to meditate on the deepest levels known as Samadhi. Now, again, most hypnotherapy schools just don’t go there. I probably because I’ve lived in the Himalayas and studied with Masters with the Yoga Sutras, I found that really valuable for me. And I thought it would be very valuable to bring into our school. Usually what happens though, is honestly our students go through the training, they hear about all these really deep states, then I graduate, it’s time to open their private practice. And I tend to get very focused on the physical world again, but at times, students certainly revisit the idea of I can plunge into the deepest states of the Yogi’s if I just follow these teachings. So those aren’t taught in our trans Personal Training, and on our website, in East store, I’m not here to plug products or anything, but in case you’re interested, there’s a self hypnosis and meditation course. And it’s again ours offering CTU credit that takes you into the deepest states of hypnosis, and then the deepest states of meditation. So if I take you all the way into deep somnambulism, you know, feel really good. You could fall asleep if you don’t know how to have that concentrated power that’s developed in meditation. Once you do, and you know how to go there, you go into the deeper sumati stages. So again, hypnotherapy hypnosis teachings, when it comes to how deep does the rabbit hole go, how deep does the rabbit hole go? stops at some point. And then the deeper 1000s year old traditions take over. If you’re exploring altered states, but again, remember those very deep altered states do not necessarily change your present day problems. There are absolutely teachings that say that they do to it Yet you could spend hours a day in Blitz and still find out that you have that addiction that doughnuts. You haven’t changed your subconscious mind for motivating that behaviour or that deep seated anger in, there’s a Zen story where the students comes to the Masters is how to achieve simaudio achieved one is some completely empty and Zen Buddhism, you hear the word Shinya empty of a separate self, I’m free of all my own ego and all my own neurosis. And then the Zen master smacks the student with a stick, and the student gets all angry. And the teacher says, Yeah, if you’re in total emptiness, where did all that anger come from? And it’s really a profound Zen teaching to say, look, you may have done a lot of meditation. But your subconscious is obviously the bestest language now, but your subconscious mind is still filled with all your childhood hurts, all of your old fears, all of the anger. Now, of course, like I’m saying, time and hypnosis will erode that away. Let me give you the simple answer what the less we put our attention and all that stuff. It does start to lose power, but we’re talking decades. And then still, I’ve seen people have done decades of intense meditation. And I’ve done hypnotherapy them. So I really know I was living in India doing hypnotherapy every afternoon, once they found out what I could do. And all these Yogi’s coming to me and other people in the town, other people in other communities were coming to me for hypnotherapy. And these were advanced meditators, but they still have the same problems everyone else does. So yes, the deep state of Samadhi is said to unravel your blocks are some scars to a degree. But they’re much more powerful ways to clear the blocks to the light and the love and who we truly are. So if you can combine both, which our school does, which is we don’t get to the meditation stuff until later, if you combine both, you’re empowered with knowing how to truly meditate the way they’ve been doing for 1000s of years, it’s not really hard. But if you do take the time to learn the Samadhi teachings, and again, that’s in my self hypnosis meditation course on our E store on our website, or inner transpersonal. And training, we do go into policy to self hypnosis, meditation course goes deeper, because it’s eight hours focus just on these themes. So really, that’s what it comes down to. And you could say, Yes, they’re similar in some ways in the beginning, they branch off in their applications depends on the tradition you’re talking about. So this can be easily debated. Depending on you get a Buddhist over here, you got an ericksonian hypnotherapist over here, they could be having a very different discussion saying no, what we do is completely different from what you do. So again, we have to hunter all the different traditions and that everybody’s point of view, they all think that right? However, there’s benefit to every teaching, what I would say very generally speaking is both states are very similar. You can branch off into hypnotherapy and have a profession and learn to transform people’s lives and amazing miraculous ways. And as a meditator, which you can make a whole lot of money. And usually, you are able to, at least for yourself, go into states that you couldn’t go into just using hypnosis. So that’s the summary of my personal opinion on the difference between hypnosis and meditation, Dr. case had a non Somatic Experiencing Epstein, the deepest possible state, Dr. K is technically correct, and non Samadhi is the deepest bliss state. But there are deeper states of Samadhi you can go beyond the bliss into something called a non Samadhi, which is in a state of it’s really translated as an illness. It’s a state of your consciousness, where your body and your mind and even the duality of you experiencing bliss has dropped away. It’s very hard to understand. But it’s not hard to say this is hard to grasp until you have the experience. When you’re experiencing a non Samadhi. You you there’s a sense of you and hardly even thought in mind, but there’s going to be an idea that time you may use the word spirit there. I’m a spiritual being. And I’m experiencing the bless of myself but there’s still I and bliss. The next level of cemani the AI is really all that’s left a nonsense. Ask me toss. Money just needs a sense of pure oneness and oneness. But there’s still a little bit of duality there. So there’s an even deeper Samadhi state called nirvikalpa Samadhi, which basically implies what’s called awesome forgot no subject, no object, no duality whatsoever, does not imply that you’re in the non Samadhi feeling that bliss anymore but it is a more advanced state. So there’s usually depending on how you categorise the two or three stages beyond that the company Dr. Kay would be practices that deepest stayed possible while they’re still a you experiencing the ecstasy, the event Initially, even that individual sense of division or slight separation we knew and ecstasy completely drops away. You might say it’s where the drop becomes the ocean arises. I’ve always been the ocean. I was just playing this game of feeling separate from it. So yeah, these states are you’re really exploring the deepest mystical teachings, whatever tradition you pull from, you will find in Kabbalah and Christian mysticism and Sufism, in Buddhism, all the mystical branches, my experience has been, they all lead to the same place. And the states we’re talking about tonight are those things which is pretty exciting to know like, Wow, my profession of hypnotherapy allows me to start putting my foot into the waters of the states that the great mystics have gone from every religious and spiritual tradition for 1000s of years. I always said my conciliate question, does meditation and hypnosis contribute to raising our vibration? It’s an awesome question. I would say yes, absolutely. And those of you who study like law of experience or law of attraction, and you appreciate the benefit of raising your vibration, because your vibration attracts things to lead, so it’s a great question. Let’s answer from the hypnotherapy side, and the meditative site. In hypnotherapy, I would say the best way you’re going to raise your vibration as you clear the blocks to all of the light and love and goodness that’s already inside of you. hypnotherapy is a much more effective way to do that. I knew the meditative teachings, years, I got into spirituality when I was about 19 or 20. I became a hypnotherapist when I was about why I went through first hypnotherapy training when I was about 24. So I did the five years of knowing how to raise my vibration and meditation is awesome, ecstatic, I didn’t really know how to clear my blocks in a systematic way, again, their meditative teachings and talk about how it happens. But God, it’s a long, painful process. hypnotherapy can clear those blocks so much faster, you give me 10 or 20 sessions with a person. And literally, I’ve worked with people sometimes for a year, like once a week, but then somebody who’s really making like a spiritual path, they say, I want to clean house, I don’t want to have any more blocks in my subconscious at all. Whatever cost whatever it takes, I’m gonna do it. And I’ve done that with hundreds of people. We’ve just said, I’m ready to keep working week after week. Not that we’re prolonging their hypnotherapy, we’re just gonna clear all your blocks that said, that’d be your spiritual path for now. And I’ll teach you meditation, whatnot as you move along, and I’ll make the obsolete in your life. So you can raise your vibration hypnotherapy by clearing the blocks to love’s presence, because love and light and truth and peace and all of that is inside of you. Yeah, they’re definitely blocks to it. And hypnotherapy is great for clearing that. in meditation, we can raise our vibration through the practices of meditation, such as chanting mantra, that can be an extremely ecstatic, very high vibratory state. Those of you have ever practised here, Tom devotional chanting through mantra with music, and that’s a very, very high vibration. And if you kept chatting on a regular basis, you would pretty much sustain that vibration. For as long as you keep doing the spiritual practice, you’d like other practices to chance, and you can drop back down and depends on what stage you’re at what stage you’re at, in your own tradition. But generally speaking, the answer would be yes, both models can raise your vibration. And again, if you go to the model of law of attraction, just by having a higher vibratory frequency, you will attract better things better people better experiences to you, you might say, Hey, you know, I better karma. And it may be depending how you define it, but really, what we’re saying is, you are a creator of your reality. Yeah, you might not realise it, if you clear all the negative blocks, all those old subconscious beliefs. I’m worthless, stupid, dumb, unworthy, and all the negative emotions. I mean, that’s a low vibration and it causes negative life experiences, clear that and all of a sudden, life starts getting so much better automatically. started meditating more, raising your vibration rate, when feeling whatever path you take some of the bliss of meditation. So my profound piece of meditation, and all of a sudden, like, wow, life is the outside starts matching the inside is what it comes down to, is like, Wow, my insides are so peaceful and harmonious and well, all my relationships are now peaceful and harmonious like that. So yeah, it’s a great question that both states can absolutely improve your life. And therefore it’s really practical to learn hypnotherapy to get hypnotherapy and to learn meditation and practice meditation. Thank you Cal and Jen sound losing the weight of the shrouds reveals the true nature of your vibration given to you is a gift from the creator of the universe. Beautifully said so right on. So the model that I like to pull from is you are already it you already have all that light in you anti anybody I’m especially I think a meditation teacher teaches you, if you meditate, you will become a Buddha. If you meditate, you will become a child of God you will experience you will create a state of oneness with your Creator. That’s misleading. It says you have to do something to create something that doesn’t yet exist. The great poet Kabir, he said, I laugh when I hear that the fish in the water is thirsty, meaning you’re already in this ocean of bliss you already are, if you want to use the theistic terms, you really are a child of God, you know, you don’t create that you want to have that. So as Jen said, their work clearing blockages to the presence of love and light and goodness and everything you want to be that’s already there, if not happy, there’s a very systematically and again, that’s why I made this my life path. So I want a path that can clear the blocks to love. And when I discovered hypnotherapy can do what am I going to learn everything about this I possibly can. And then meditation is a down the way as hypnosis can be to get you back to your original essence to your true nature. Thank you. All right, final goodbyes. Have a wonderful night, everyone.
