For example, the National Library of Medicine’s database of peer-reviewed research studies lists over 12,500 publications related to hypnosis. Of these, over 1,100 are review articles that synthesize findings of multiple studies on topics relevant to patient care. For instance, 110 review articles have been published to evaluate the findings of research conducted on pain management alone.
