Dear IIH Students, Graduates, IAIH Members, and Friends of the Institute,
We are sad to announce that one of our dear graduates and IAIH members, Cynthia Dannar, passed away recently. Our hearts go out to her family, friends and former classmates, as we lost a true source of love, light and healing in this world. I personally trained Cynthia and she even repeated the entire 500-hour training twice.
She was at our recent IAIH Conference in May and was recently working with me directly about a client of hers whom she so deeply wanted to help. While it saddens my heart to write this blog, it is a chance to honor the memory of a beautiful person who brought so much goodness to the world and who will forever remain in our hearts.

On Wednesday, July 17th, 2019, we received the tragic news that the world lost one of our graduates and IAIH members, Cynthia Dannar. On behalf of our entire team, I want to honor Cynthia’s memory, and I personally can say that she was one of the sweetest, kindest and most loving people that I have ever met. Cynthia was an exceptional student. She loved learning about hypnotherapy and was even enrolled in our July Basic NLP Training.
It was terribly sad to have to tell that group that one of their classmates could not be there with them to share in the love and skillsets that we were all committed to embracing and expanding.
Cynthia originally trained in our Charlotte, North Carolina location. I remember her graduation well and felt honored to hand her the State-Licensed diplomas that she worked so diligently to earn. She hung them on the wall of her office and included them online on her website. Cynthia was in private practice for many years, out of an office that she loved, a place where she helped countless people with hypnotherapy. All of her Google ratings and testimonials were five stars only hinting at the quality of care and transformation Cynthia provided in the world.
She was a proud member of IAIH maintaining high standards of professionalism while honoring the sacred nature of transformational relationships, and we were certainly honored and proud to consider her a member of the IAIH family.
Cynthia was a true light in this world, and she will be dearly missed. The family has opted to have a small private funeral. If you wish to send your condolences, memories, and words of honor to her family, please reach out the school and we will forward them on.
While we are so very sorry to share this news, we are so very blessed that Cynthia was a part of our lives. She was instrumental in forwarding just how sacred our work is in the world and for that we are eternally grateful.
We love you Cynthia, and you will be deeply missed.
