Hybrid Learning for Becoming a Hypnotherapist
IIH offers a hybrid style of learning that consists of both online and in-house training. The online training gives you the opportunity to learn from the comfort of your own home, go at your own pace, and review training videos as many times as you want to. In-house training allows you to meet other students, learn under direct expert supervision, and practice techniques that are best learned in person. By combining the best of both worlds, we deliver you an education that allows you to graduate as a confident and well-trained hypnotherapist.
Clinical Externship Locations
Our 500-hour hypnotherapy training is broken down into five 100-hour sections, where 70% of the training occurs online and 30% of the training occurs in-house. Therefore, every six weeks students go to a location near them and study with true leaders in the field. Institute Founder and Executive Director, Matthew Brownstein, trains students online and makes in-house appearances at physical locations, while Dani Fox is the Lead Instructor of the Tampa, Florida location and Rene Brent is the Lead Instructor of the Orlando, Florida location. A team of supervisors accompanies each location director to help ensure a 1-to-5 Supervisor-to-Student ratio during in-house practical hours.

We want you to succeed. To do that we have made it easy to adjust this training to be right for you. Here are a few of the ways that we help you to reach your goals to become a hypnotherapist:
- Train at your own pace. Even if you go slower than our average student you can simply transfer to a future class if you ever fall behind.
- Learn at your own pace. Online training lets you watch training videos when you want to and in a way that does not interrupt current work or family obligations.
- Pay your own way. Some students pay for the full training in advance, others pay every six weeks in installments, and others use our financing options that allow payments to be as low as $300 per month on average.
