Biography
Rene Brent was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. She attended Southern Illinois University Nursing School in Edwardsville. She has since lived in Orlando, Florida for 20 yrs.
Rene has been a RN for 25 years and has worked in ICU, Trauma/ER and Recovery Room. In her experience, she has seen and was inspired by the powerful mind/body connection and how self -awareness and reframing negative thoughts helps all of us heal emotionally and physically.
Her co-workers used to call her the “New Age“ nurse. Rene Brent was always the nurse at the head of the bed making eye contact and talking softly with the patients. She understood how powerful and healing that connection was. Without even understanding how she was doing it, she would pace her patients to a calmer state and then they would experience less pain and anxiety.
It was a natural transition for Rene Brent to go from being a healer of the body to a healer of the mind. She is passionate about leading her clients to a path of change through empowerment and self-awareness.
Rene Brent’s solo practice is located in Maitland, Florida. She is certified as a Clinical and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist. She uses a variety of modalities such as hypnotic programming, parts therapy, regression therapy, breath work and past-life regression. Rene is also a life coach and utilizes a variety of techniques including NLP, EMT and EFT. She finds these protocols give her clients the opportunity to gain self- confidence and strength to move forward in their lives. They change maladaptive behavior and negative patterns and beliefs, and when that happens, true healing can occur.
Rene Brent is the Director of the Orlando area FIH Externship Location and is a registered member the International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapist (IAIH). She is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Examiner and Instructor through the IAIH and an Anahat Certified Presenter.
