Direct therapeutic interventions, medicine and other modalities (including hypnotherapy) share the same goal of teaching people self-care. Hypnotherapists are uniquely prepared to motivate clients’ healthy beliefs and behavior—essential aspects of self-care which are otherwise missing in conventional medical care.
The audience will benefit by:
-
Developing awareness of the role of hypnotherapists in the healthcare system
-
Exploring the benefits of inspiring clients to practice self-care, wellness and behavior modification in the healing and preventing diseases
-
Discussing application of hypnotherapy to management of particular chronic diseases
-
Learning the ethical and legal aspects of contributing to medical care
-
Gaining personal education towards becoming a sophisticated consumer of the health care system, knowledge which can be shared with the clients and also family and friends.
