Most people are unaware of the many possibilities that can develop from getting a career diploma in professional hypnotherapy. From private practice to working in a medical establishment, IIH graduates have a variety of possibilities to explore with State-Licensed diplomas. Read more here…
Full-Time Hypnotherapy Practice
One option upon graduation is to open one’s own office and to see a full client load. In this scenario, graduates have the rewarding experience of being their own boss, making their own hours, and charging what they know they deserve. A full-time hypnotherapist might do 1 ½ hour to 2 hour sessions and could reasonably see anywhere from 15 to 30 clients per week.
Part-Time Hypnotherapy Practice
For various reasons, a graduate may choose to only work part-time, and yet still could see 5 to 15 clients per week. Sometimes this occurs out of one’s own office, the graduate might choose to share an office in a holistic health or medical center, or he or she might pay to use a room on an hourly basis. This is an easy, flexible way to supplement one’s income while still engaging in a rewarding and fulfilling career.
Adjunct to an Existing Practice
Hypnotherapy certification works quite well in conjunction with numerous other professions. Here, a practitioner adds hypnotherapy to an existing practice. This brings extra income, provides the ability to offer different services, and allows for variety in one’s day-to-day activities. Bringing hypnosis to an existing care-giving profession usually allows for deeper work on the mental and spiritual levels, while allowing the practitioner to go into hypnosis many times each day as well. Massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, life coaches, and personal trainers are just a few of the people who benefit from adding hypnotherapy certification to their existing occupations.
Personal Growth
Many people enjoy learning hypnosis for the mere pleasure of their own personal development, and have no intention of ever going into private practice at all. Some of these students change their minds over time and decide to start seeing clients, yet either way such students are forever empowered with radical, life changing techniques that they can use on themselves or on others. Many students report that the spiritual growth that occurs from the training was well worth the investment of time, energy, and money.
Medical Uses
More and more, IIH graduates are working in harmony with doctors, dentists, acupuncturists, weight loss clinics, and holistic health centers to enhance the private practice of other professionals. Here, a graduate might have a full-time or part-time office in one of these establishments, or he or she might simply work within a referral network to receive clients. In-depth training in medical and dental hypnosis leads to confident graduates who can offer the benefits of this training to an ever more accepting medical community.
