We therefore run our school’s corporation as Anahat Education Group, Inc. where the school is called the “Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy,” as our work is rooted only in love, and only in creating loving and harmonious relationships through hypnosis and hypnosis training. Anahat Meditation Center
In 1997, I opened Anahat Meditation Center where I taught the core principles as found in my books The Sacred Geometry of Meditation and The Anahat Meditation System. Over the years, this has transformed into Anahat Education Group as our focus became more about training hypnotherapists, rather than just teaching these very deep meditations. However, at the heart of all that we do at the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy, you will find these deeper principles creating an education that is rooted in Spirit, and that works to teach only peace and love through the means of forgiveness.
Interpersonal Hypnotherapy
The deep roots of our hypnosis certification programs, reside in the deeper spiritual principles as found in my book Interpersonal Hypnotherapy. Here we honor the sacred nature of every transformational relationship, where we bring solid educational principles, high ethics, and advanced distance learning systems to the forefront of our work. Interpersonal Hypnotherapy is its own unique approach to hypnosis and hypnotherapy training. The work always remains centered in the heart, and is always dedicated to being of service.
International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists
We founded the IAIH to be a governing, regulatory and credentialing body for the field of hypnotherapy, and more specifically, for Interpersonal Hypnotherapists. We work in legislative ways to protect the free and open practice of hypnotherapy, offer continuing education, hold annual conferences (next one to be May of 2018), and distribute other books and teachings through Silent Light Publishers. IAIH is still growing into what it will become as we are dedicated to our students’ and graduates’ success.
The Growth of the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy
We began in Gainesville, Florida as the Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy in 2007. Since then we have expanded all across the Country, with locations now in: Hollywood and Tampa, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Dallas, Texas; Boulder, Colorado; and Santa Barbara and San Diego, California. As this Vision was conceived long before its physical manifestation, the school’s name evolved to become the “Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy” to encapsulate this larger mission.
